At the Olympics, he didn't just underperform along with the rest of the Russians, but he also was dickish about media and only spoke with the Russian sports writers.
Gets back and gets this suspension fairly soon after.
If the Caps gets surprised in the first or second round next month - entirely possible depending on match-ups - Ovie could go from one of the most popular players to one of the "villains" of the league.
