FF13 gameplay spoils

Ugh, getting mauled by this boss at (presumably) the end of Chapter 9. Five-headed magic-hurling bastard. It seems like the more time I spend trying to heal my characters, the harder he hits.

I'm considering replaying a few earlier battles to gain some Crystarium points before giving it another shot, as I haven't made any headway the last few tries.
