so in the english education system, i know you have primary school (which is akin to what we call grade school over here) and secondary school (which is like high school, but my understanding is that ends at age 16 and you can take 2 years of advanced schooling until 18 if you want)
the question is do you actually call it "secondary school" or is there some other shorthand/slang like high school that kids use, e.g., if you were having your 10 year secondary school reunion, is that how you would refer to it or something shorter like "sec school"? do they even have reunions for those schools??
and at the university level, does it take four years to earn an undergrad degree as it does here or can you do it quicker?
