we can't find our ez pass transponder at all.
we've completely gone through both cars and it's nowhere to be found.
we use it maybe twice a year and never have any need to take it out of the car.
we've turned our house upside down trying to find it, and it's not in the house either.
then, last night, i have the brilliant idea to look at the ez pass account online, and it would tell us in the history the last time it was used. so i go to the site to try to log in, and i can't remember the password. i go to reset the password and it says that along with your email address, i need the account number, which of course i don't know.
but wait - the account number is on the statements we get, which i *always* file away in our file cabinet. the file cabinet is the one thing in my life i keep super neat and organized. the ez pass statements are in their own folder, so it will be really easy to go upstairs to the cabinet and get the folder, right?
right?
guess what is the one folder that isn't in the file cabinet? anywhere. i went through the entire file cabinet to see if the folder had been misfiled.
nowhere.
the only time i take that folder out is to file the monthly statements.
this has me mystified.
