I have both many internal drives as well as a FreeAgent

I've always used them for my storage, especially when they had 5 year warranties. There are many different models of drives and I've heard of problems depending on which type (green, desktop, enterprise). I usually prefer the "higher end" models which cost slightly more but usually don't have as many issues.
