he was Single-A at the time, opening nite at Frederick, it was freezing; first 2 guys get walked on 8 pitches; this man-monster comes out to the on-deck circle.
Program has him listed at 6'5, 295. Next guy walks on 4 pitches. Young gets to the plate, pitcher hits him; you see the 1b recoil in fear he'd charge the mound.
Next year, i see him in the Orioles system, they have him listed at 6'7, 325. And that might have been lowballing him.
