The Tyree play alone answers that. -- nm

That wasn't a good throw, and Rivers throw one of the best high passes in the NFL.

It's not the throw, it's even getting the ball in the air. Rivers has no ability to do that.

I don't see why not. I've seen Rivers get away from a pass rush then throw a ball on the run while someone else was in his face.

I don't think that's a symbol of Manning or Rivers or Brady or anything other than fates alone.

I fully agree with that but it's representative of Eli vs. Rivers in its own way.

I'll say this.....I'll take Rivers; you take Eli. I'll content myself with the better QB.

And I'll content myself that the opposition thinks they have the better QB when they clearly don't. -- nm

So with the SB on the line, and the offence *NEEDING* a touchdown, Eli didn't do anything to make that happen. Gotcha. -- nm

That isn 't even close to what I said. You give Peyton, Brady, Rothlisberger, any of them that play set...it doesn't happen

That doesn't equate to "Eli did nothing" in any way shape or form. (nm)

Really, the Pats scored 14pts; lowest of the year a month after vs the same team, they'd hung 30+ on them. -- nm

They held *that* offense to 14pts. That's heavy lifting. -- nm

Well they still needed to score points against the 4th ranked D.
