It confuses it when it's for medical reasons (in both our situations it may be). Of course you're going to be hurt and mad. I honestly don't think you can change that.
What you can control is your actions. Even though in the short term cutting off your mother may feel justified, you're too good of a person to not eventually be riddled with guilt.
There's a part of me that just wants to kick Meg to the curb, but I realize the bigger part, and the one that will be me in a few years, knows I have to get her better before I can even consider that.
You might not ever get over what your mom did, but for *you* you have to be a good son.
