Played with the iPad for about 5 minutes today. Too heavy, for one, and the shape (beveled edges) make it hard to hold.

The big thing is I just don't see why you'd get an iPad when it can't do anything the iTouch and iPhone can't, lacks any real computing power, etc.
It's a step between a smart phone and a laptop running an OS without any benefits to set it apart from either.
