As long as they build it entirely for touch, it is doable. Windows 7 on a tablet isn't the same as using the iPhone OS on the iPad

the deficiencies of a non-touch interface being "touchified" is very very obvious both in the UI and in how apps behave.
Web browsing on the iPad is a great example. It works, but it doesn't work nearly as well as a touch interface app does.
