it's now $18.50 for a first run 3D show here in LA. i will still go see movies that i would otherwise want to see, no matter if they are 3D or not. but i probably won't bother with movies that i might have seen in 2D but that are just using the 3D as an upselling gimmick

also, the 3D really strains my eyes, which will probably make me less likely to go for less "eventy" pictures

An aside: I can't see 3D due to very limited depth perception. But I actually saw a bit of 3D in HTTY Dragon (spoils) - TWuG Apr 6, 11:33
