the various US-Tokyo routes are probably some of the cheapest cost per mile routes you will find anywhere (I'm guessing). -- nm

there were rumors that either Virgin Australia or Delta would get forced out, but not yet. ORD-DEL runs cheap too. -- nm

oh, I revise my opinion. LA-Sydney is probably cheaper per mile than the Tokyo routes.
