So I want to find a single-player game that I'll enjoy playing tonight on my laptop with meager graphics capabilities (Intel chipset). Do I:

1) Download Torchlight from Steam and play that
2) Download Left 4 Dead from Steam and play that single player
3) Buy Left 4 Dead 2 from Steam and play that single player with the advantage I can play multi-player also at home
4) Buy a game that I haven't played that might not work well on the laptop like Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins
