I've got to say Heavy Rain is one of the most unusual games I've ever played

Fascinating in its way, but really unlike any other video game I've ever played I think. It's almost like a huge choose-your-own-adventure game.
Odd points:
- there is no scoring that I can see
- You can make the characters pee and shower
- Often times you are given multiple options of what to say or do and different outcomes happen depending on which you choose.
- If you are indecisive the game chooses - and doesn't always pick the best option it seems.
Fairly addicting too.
