Speaking of Heyward, the Braves sold ~550 of his jerseys during Monday's game.

What's impressive about that is that due to arcane baseball rules about rookie jerseys, they couldn't go on sale until the game was official after the 5th inning.

The Braves have already sold over $50k worth of his jerseys in a day and a half. Given that his salary for this year is $400k, I look forward to their justification when they lower payroll again next year.
