If a person were to be a tourist in L.A., where would they stay? (that is, what neighborhood or hotel?)
|
Given that there is no real "downtown" area in Los Angeles, I guess the question is: What would that tourist do? Do the studio tours, and then...? You know what? L.A. doesn't have all that much that appeals to me. Their tourism bureau needs to do something about that. I suspect that most people who go to L.A. go there focused on one thing (attending a concert, going to a show, etc.) and then are left to feel around to find something else to do. It's not like Anaheim is right next door, either.

If you have the time, split your time between L.A. and Anaheim. Much depends on whether you have a car or are depending on public transport.
