my totally unsolicited opinion, if you have any intent to work in media/marketing: go back to NYC

work any contacts you met last summer, find a roommate, get a schlub job to pay the bills and put you on your feet, let the people from MTV know that you are back, see if they have entry level jobs (PA, mail room, anything) that ever open up. the sooner you can start paying your dues in this business, thebetter
