I'm arguing against Jacks "boy wonder tax preparer" argument that because he can do it without any problems shouldn't everyone be able to!

Yeah, if you've got no itemized deductions you should be able to file on your own, and most do, but if you itemize going to a tax preparer to make sure you get the most deductions, or even worse don't take deductions you aren't qualified to take, doesn't make you stupid or lazy.
