How long are you spending there?

I haven't been, but my wife has. She stayed in Cairo most of the time, except with a trip out to the Pyramids, I think. The archeological msueum is a must-see as well.

Probably the most out-of-the-box suggestion I can make is that she stayed at a hotel (the Marriott, I think?) with a Western menu and an Egyptian menu, and she only ordered from the Egyptian menu. The restaurant staff were gave her lots of attention because she was about the only guest in the hotel to do this.
