In 1996, Angelos vetoed his GM's recommendation to trade Bobby Bo and other vets for a wild-card run.

we made the wild card and then the ALCS. Angelos then thought he was brilliant and the fans were packing the place so he had money to spend.

1997, we went wire to wire and he started pulling power plays, running Davey Johnson out of town on the day DJ won the Manager of the Year and Gillick left.

Then a bad GM followed by only yes men and bad drafting and dumb trades....
