Need wine advice. (BossSteve, don't chose today to start reading ST.) So I'm going over to my boss's for Thanksgiving, but not for a big meal. In fact

at first I didn't think it was for a meal at all. It's really just to stop by and see some stuff he has that we were chatting about one day. (No, not his etchings!) Thanksgiving is just a day that we're both off, essentially.
Except today I find out that somebody else from work (and his wife) is also coming. And BossSteve wants to light his brushfire and have a bonfire.
I'm supposed to get there at 4:00. It's probably dark enough for a bonfire by 5:30.
I don't know if I'm expected to stay for a supper. Now that the bonfire has come up, and the other people who are coming, I'm thinking maybe food will be involved. So now I'm thinking I should bring a bottle of wine.
What's your wine recommendation?

New Beaujolais is sort of traditional, yeah? Assuming it's turkey, any light red should be fine - tempranillo would be good, carmenere also -- nm

Definitely take a bottle of wine -- even if just as a gift for the holidays.
