the terror chief of Mumbai (ie, the Indian NYC) was killed when he went into a hostage locale.

one of the major hotels is on fire, with guests in their rooms hiding from roving bands of gunmen.

stolen police vehicles being used to fire on unsuspecting crowds.

This is beyond the normal for India.
