Imo, that logo on the main page (the checkerboard background mainly) doesn't match the spartan design of the rest of the site.

Either spice up everything, or get rid of the checkerboard. Aesthetically, it's out of place.

agreed, if that is their real logo, the site doesn't match. If that is not their real logo, I'd use the real one. -- nm
