Overbay's numbers went up .03 since yesterday?

If it is him we're talking about, I think it's basically special circumstances:
1) He's not an up and comer, so they know he is a capable major league hitter,
2) He's not too old that his skills should have disappeared either,
3) His defensive rating is supposed to be good for about .6 runs/game or something like that, which is what the Jays need with the young pitching going this year,
4) He's not really blocking anyone, as the team knows they're rebuild, that he's done with them this year and Brent Wallace takes over next year,
5) And finally, his best value to the team in July is trade bait, so better to let him hit himself out of the slump and hopefully be playing decent ball in June, July and maybe get a minor prospect back for him. Otherwise, just let him walk and get the compensation pick.
