As a side with dinner tonight, I'm going to cut some potatoes into wedges, put some olive oil, Italian seasoning and sea salt on them, and bake them.
How should I apply the olive oil? I don't want to dip the wedges in oil, that seems like overkill, right? It seems I want to more brush them on the outside wil oil? Is that right? (If so, how? I don't have all those fancy kitchen gadgets like basting brushes)

Gallon sized Ziploc. Put a couple tablespoons of oil, your seasoning, the potatoes. Close the bag and shake it up.

To save on cleanup, put the oil and seasonings in a plastic bag, add potatoes , hold the bag closed with some air inside, shake well.

Put your thumb over the spout of the bottle and shake the oil onto them, for lack of a better description. -- nm
