TFox, have the noises at night gotten worse or lessened?

Ghosts either tend to accept new occupants and settle down, or go totally ape shit. They rarely maintain the same level of disruption for more than a couple of days. What are you telling the family about the noises? I'd go with "old house" and "old pipes". The rattling could be the radiator. And the slamming could be a window that was left open.
