a friend has been trying, for 6 months, to get me to go on a date with a co-worker of hers. Now, i have met this co-worker, talked to her before (she had the job that my friend now has at this company).
Now, to me, i have no (god i am struggling to find an adequate word) connection to this person. sure I can talk and be friendly with them, but i dont have a desire to really get to know them more, etc. I dont find her that intriguing, etc.
So, my excuse of "i'm not ready to start dating, just got divorced, etc" is a little lame, i guess its been over a year since the divorce was final, and rapidly approaching 2 years from when the marriage fell apart.
My question is this. Do I agree to go on a "date" with this person, even though I know i dont see a relationship there? would it matter if this person works at one of our (the firm I work for) more important clients?
