I don;t like the posturing behind it (recession! everyone has to sacrifice!), but I don't have a problem with the end of the subsidy.

that being said, if the tories do end up running a deficit in the tens of billions, they'll have lost me. won't be the party I wanted in power 10 years ago anymore.
