In response to "I don't like the Bloc either, but if we want money in this program to not go to them, other parties should have policies that appeal better to Quebec" by Reagen

Honestly, this election is evidence that many Quebecois won't vote for the federalist parties no matter how good their Quebec positions are.

If 2% in arts funding and 16-year olds in adult court are "anti-Quebec" enough to offset billions in transfer increases and the nation recognition, not the least to mention the continued support for companies like Bombardier and such, then it's no longer, "The federalist parties aren't speaking to Quebeckers."

Lots of serious pundits are starting to look at the fact that Quebeckers do not appear willing to vote for a party led by a non-Quebecker. Would that attitude be acceptable anywhere else in the country?

My point is just that there's more to the Bloc's support than just, "They speak to Quebec issues."
