*giggles* that's an understatement

here in austin if you have soil its clay. at best you get 1/2" clay on top of solid limestone rock. when my mom moved into her house i spent an entire summer with a pick-axe and a 25lb. digging bar excavating the rock from all her flower beds. (~18" below ground ground level so we could then truck in tons of good soil and build raised beds). wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of limestone.
