No. I'm upset that I'm always told to make excuses for special status and special programs without being told by anyone as to why.

All I need is a reason. A "This is why we're doing it."
I was hanging my hat on the hope that we were just in a bad generation and that eventually Quebec residents would see value to remaining in Canada and would engage other Canadians the same way Albertans engage Nova Scotians and Manitobas engage Ontarians and so forth.
I'm no longer seeing any of that. If anything, it just gets worse and worse in terms of demands and slights.
So can anyone tell me..."Why is it important that we treat Quebec with kid gloves when they obviously don't care about the rest of us?"
