as a wedding photog in San Fran I did a number of civil unions. When they first started the clients would only order a small package for themselves, maybe a few extra for their friends. a couple were so paranoid they asked me to destroy the negs so that there was no possible leaks.

when I left san fran, civil union orders were just about the same as hetro marriage. while even my straights didn't order parents albums all that often, folios were quite popular (a leather folding frame that held mulitple images sorta like a two pages of an album)

in fact one of my last ones they ordered a 16x20 to fit on a mother's wall next to the ones they had of their two other kids who were married
