not that I *want* to see it but I've read enough to know that the Pacific campaigns were much more brutal on both sides.

I've been sort of surprised how tame Pacific seems then in the first 6 episodes.

The writing seems less well done. I just don't care what happens to the characters (real people) unfortunately.
