He went outside to help his father build the fence, and left the dog in the house, figuring "Oh, he's being good, I won't crate him."

He chewed half an inch deep.
The behavior issues have started, pretty much whenever he doesn't like being 'denied access' somewhere. This morning I shut the bedroom door when I went to use the computer, and he left me a present on the floor. Same spot as always.
