Britain recently just *severely* curtailed immigration because they are facing high unemployment and their social services are being taxed.

they are doing it to protect themselves and i think that's very fair.
however, if your country needs doctors and there are doctors who want to live there, you are properly servicing your citizens by allowing that person to come.
