this reminds me - i was watching one of those reality-wedding shows last week....

and, the bride and groom were these 'it's all god's will' types (also - he was a wannabe rapper) and they lost their church and reception hall 8 days before their wedding.
and they weren't doing anything about it. they kept saying that 'god would take care of them.' the bride's sister was losing her MIND and called in an expert and that's where the show came in. but, the wedding planner kept saying "YOU HAVE A WEEK! MAKE A DECISION" and they'd be all 'oh, we believe god will take care of us."
the classic line was the wedding planner saying to the camera "god doesn't plan weddings but *I* do."
