Have you ever been to the locks and salmon ladder in Ballard?

There's also a botanical garden on the grounds. You can cross the locks as long as a boat isn't going through thrm. On the far side is a salmon ladder and under ground viewing area. It was one of my favorite places to go in Seattle. Also it's pretty cool seeing the huge fising boats going through. They've been working about 100 years, built by the army corps of engineers.
