I'm not so sure Candice's move was so bad. Every time we assume that once an old tribe is down in numbers, they will all get booted before the other remaining alliance starts chewing each other. But it almost never happen like that. The alliance with the highest number always start targeting each other when there's 1-2 player of the other tribe remaining.

Right now Candice has some kind of alliance with Sandra, and Jerri and Colby probably won't be targets in the beginning and are not too tight with Russel/Parvati and Danielle. Plus that little group is too agressive to stick together for long.

I think Candice went with the most explosive group, and perhaps she will find her place in the end.
