I've only made masa (corn) tortillas - its the simplest dang thing and the freshness beats the taste of any others I've ever had in my life

I saw Rick Bayless do it on his cooking show and I said "I can do that"
basically, I buy the masa flour (you have to get it 'for tortillas', as there is masa flour for tamales that has a different consistency) mix it in a bowl, form it into small balls, press it out on the tortilla press, and then put on a flat griddle for about 90 seconds each side
