I wasn't referring to you alone.
it makes no sense that the lyric as used throughout the song would be about sex, so adams' clipped comment may well have been either an outright joke or more that it was about the inclusion at the end and not the entire song - i.e., a hybrid of his comment and that of the co-writer.
