I make ours on a Coleman stove, but none the less enjoyable :)

None of the local markets have Maxwell House filter packs any more, but fortunately I can still get them at Amazon.
Two of those in a coffee pot, boil 'til thick enough. If it starts to get thin throw in another one :)
