See, I just don't get that. Not everyone's into "Art" with a capital A, they just want something decorative and pretty.

Seriously, it's not for me, but I don't put down anyone who likes his stuff and similar things from other artists. His stuff is highly stylized, overblown, romantic, fantasyish stuff. It's pure escapism for people who love the pinks and greens and creams that predominate his paintings. I usually keep my mouth shut when the Kincaid bashing starts, but when you get right down to it, he's no more overblown and romantic than Auguste Renoir or any of the other romantic realists were in their day.
There, I said it. :)
