In response to "It's not on a debit card is it? We have all kinds of problems with them not dropping the pre-auth when the charge is applied." by MojaveMeg

Yep, it sure is.

I was triple charged for Transformers. The girl I spoke to (twice!) is telling me that she sees I was only charged once, and that the 2 extra $9.99 charges are "holding fees", and that they will be credited back to my account "within 5-7 business days."

First of all, I'm assuming she is talking about an authorization charge, which I had on my acct yesterday, for $1. The card worked, they dropped the charge today. That I expect. But $20? No way.

Secondly, if that is in fact some sort of screwed-up practice of theirs, there is no reason for that money to be held out of my account for that long.

I *know* I was triple charged.
