I've just become such a cold hearted bastard on this one. I can accept a certain level of danger in general if these things are handled better.

Does that mean that some people might die? Yes, it probably does. But I do not subscribe to the "If this measure saves just one person, then it is worth it," school of thought when it comes to security.
