I haven't seen it either, but not for as silly a reason as he. I can't *see* 3-D and that seems to be the

main selling point of the movie.

"The script is "meh" but the 3-D is AWESOME!" Well, with my inability to see the 3-D that leaves me with a "meh" story. So, I passed.

But refusing to see Avatar, no matter the excuse, is world's different from dismissing an entire genre of films.
