the volume of laundry isn't necessarily that much larger, but it takes *so freaking long* to take stuff out of the dryer, because there are so many separate items.

inevitably, in the half hour it takes to get all of Abby's socks and washcloths out of the dryer, there's one of Heather's silk shirts in the back that's now all wrinkly.
