Gather 'round, kids, for the annual storytelling...

Many years ago, my brother and I started buying a few tickets to several different local bowl games (college football) just in case our team (Clemson) went. We'd then sell the rest on eBay and hopefully get our money back *and* pay for the tickets we actually used. Well, for a few years, our team didn't go to any bowl we had tickets for, but we found the bowl ticket business to be quite lucrative. Now we "invest" nearly $10,000 per year, and have never lost money, although the last couple of years have been pretty dicey thanks to "parity" in a lot of conferences. This year, though, we've got the big one: four tickets to the National Championship game.
