It's huge that her qualifications trump her sexuality. Such would likely not have been the case 5 years ago.
Yes, I can hear you arguing that Bush appointing a gay Justice would have been a big deal and meant more. Not my point.
My point is that people don't care that she's gay. It's accepted and dismissed as not relevant to her ability to do the job. But it *is* still an important milestone in the journey of gay acceptance by society.
You are sounding way angrier and more strident about this issue than ML or anyone else.
