From B2: The change that Canadians will accept coalitions in general. Most won't today.

THe next election will see all three of the main leaders get asked about coalitions, and it will be interesting to see what they say. I expect Harper will kybosh the notion right away and then pressure Ignatieff to distance himself from Layton. But if the Libs and NDP get "too clever", they might actually announce plans to form a coalition gov't post-election and in my opinion, that will likely guarantee a Harper majority. He'd love to run against the Liberals and NDP straight up.
