I was actually pretty disappointed in it because for the first time this season it raised way more questions than provided answers, and more questions than I think they will possibly be able to answer in 2 episodes unless they stop halfway and just do a powerpoint. It felt like an early season episode. Who was the mom. I was also finally settling into believing the man in black was truly evil (and maybe he is now that he turned into smokey), but he was essentially turned that way by those who were supposed to be good (I suppose because he had no faith, but I find that unsatisfying). How did he figure out how to build the wheel thing? That seems like a huge unexplained leap. And going forward, how do people like Widmore and Dharma come to know of the island and its role. Are they sort of Knights of the Templar? How were they recruited? It just raised all of the questions again including some I was sort of prepared to let go. Based on this and some comments from cast members, I'm afraid of an ambiguous ending.
